Kildare Pre-Primary school was established in 1968, in the building owned
by St Andrew’s Church. It is an independent, co-educational diverse
school that strives to stimulate young children towards independence
through holistic education, in a caring environment. We promote our
philosophy of learning through play and incidental learning.
At Kildare Pre-Pre-Primary, teaching is what we love to do and we want
every child’s first experience of school to be happy and enriching.
Kildare is closely associated with St Andrews Church. The school seeks to ground its activities in faith and prayer. We welcome and respect children from other religious traditions or from not religious tradition. Church services are held at the end of each term.
The Principal is assisted by a Governing Body of 6 members, who are members of the school. They control finances and set policies. Elections are held at the AGM in March each year. We encourage new parents to become part of the Governing Body.
Our Parents teacher association (PTA) comprises of staff and class representatives: They organise functions, raise funds, hold work parties, and generally assist in the maintenance of the school. We need moms and dads to volunteer to be on this important committee.
